Today is my birthday and despite not getting much, I have been blessed with the best gift of all.  A good steady rain.  But I need to go back a bit. Back in May there were some people living in the house across the street and they were just horrible people.  Always threatening people, yelling, fighting, and there were like 50 some people there all the time.  It was to the point that I just stayed inside or left for a bit just so I didn't have to hear the stupid insults and threats.  It also interfered with my work to some extent as I tend to work outside.  Anyways one evening in late May there was a fight as usual.  Walked outside cause I wa

So life here has been pretty crazy and even that is playing it down quite a bit.  There's been a lot of brawls and shootings lately which is making it hard to work outside like I normally do.  Seems like no place here is even safe enough anymore.  Anyways I've been forced to do my work inside. During the past month the house was being worked on so I wasn't getting much done.  So I only have 5 of the 25 commissions done for the year right now.  Anyways I did my very first wood burn of a dragon and no I don't have it posted.  Which I did it for a friend cause well I kinda got myself into that mess.  It started out as a joke and well joke was o

The title says it all.  These are pretty much insane musings.  Anyways my last entry was back in October.  Talk about a long time.  Ok so time for a quick run down. October pretty much was wrapping up the growing season as I grow my own garden every year.  Which meant doing harvests weekly, garden work and craving a pumpkin.  Needless to say I attempted a skull and it came out rather decent considering it was drawn on before carving. November was the end of taking commissions for the year, getting ready for thanksgiving, and simply working on commissions. December was wrapping up all the commissions for the year and holidays with family.
